fermez la bouche, annick
we had an AWESOME writing workshop on saturday-- so awesome, i don't remember it, thanks to "martin blanco" aka all the vanilla stoli, amaretto and kahlua in my espresso. four of the pictures are now up on my flog; i'll post the rest tomorrow...and they'll meander over to flickr at some point soon, mais oui.

Anna- I know this has nothing to do with your post but I just wanted to send you the link to a really important story from a blog friend. Thanks for your time!

wow, this is such a pretty picture. I love the lighting and the casual setting.
It actually does seem as if you guys had an excellent time.
random question: is the crumbled tissue in the glass? I know when I'm at tables after dinner or whatever I tend to get a tad bit ADD-like and do that.
eh.

ew, the napkin IS in the glass *shudder*
I have an unnatural aversion to wet paper.
Thanks for pointing that out, monologist :P

Mint-
Thank you so much for that link-- you were right, it WAS important. I'm really grateful you shared it. I posted about it over on Sepia Mutiny, the group blog I'm a part of...I hope your friend won't mind. I also hope she's found a little peace.
