neo and trinity and morpheus, oh my

so. i saw the matrix revolution today...courtesy of google. they rented out the entire day at some random theater in the valley. since i am sick (see yesterday's whining), a movie sounded PERFECT to me. doped up on tylenol and robitussin gelcaps, and then fortified with a venti blended, not-so-sweet white mocha, i actually enjoyed it, even though i didn't see "reloaded". i'm not going to lie-- i was somewhat confused, but then i decided to just let go and enjoy all the pretty special effects. i tend to overthink things, so my zen wednesday obligation was fulfilled by me being mindful at the matrix :) once i did that, symbolism became wonderfully apparent- i realised that a character who was "guarding" people was named "seraph" and seraphim are angels. that made me happy, in a simple sweet sort of way.

what did i think? i liked it. go see it.

also, to om, livingsimply, fareesh, sachin and abhi...thanks for sending love. and triple-ply kleenex. i don't actively think about how blogging opens up your world infinitely but it does, and wishes for my health are a mind-blowing reminder of that. as each one rolled in, i was continually surprised. someone cares that i have the flu? i write what one of my friends calls "the most uninteresting blog post ever" and people respond? it's powerful, i tell you. and i will stop waxing sappy...now.

i'm being rude. i'm at a dinner party in atherton, someone pulled out a laptop and because i'm shyer than people realise, i happily commenced blogging. sometimes, i don't feel like a social butterfly. not when it matters, at least. oh, and i brought a louis latour pouligny-montrachet, btw. what, you thought i was raised by wolves???
