Mummy,
Maybe if I had studied something different at Davis...that job is for someone who actually knows how to do real, useful stuff with computers, i.e. not me. :) You have too much faith in my technical abilities. Still, it would be so fun to move home and then get to live in Berkeley.
The test I took yesterday was harder than I expected, but I reviewed what I could beforehand and I did my best. There were a LOT of questions which felt tricky...but I guess that's to be expected. We'll see. I'm trying to stay positive, because by the time I left at 5, I really started to fall in love with the offices and the staff's attitude. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it seems like such a cool place to work and I know I'd learn so much.
I'll call you the minute I hear any news about it; the next step is a second interview, if I'm worthy.
Love you too,
Latha

My mom thinks the same of me, just because I can do a little bit of HTML for the sake of my blog. Oh, and because I can fix the computer when there are viruses on it. I wish I had majored in computer-based something now!

Omg, Roonie. Same, same, same. HTML and I set up her desktop. I think the fact that I use TypePad makes it worse, b/c she's seen my blogs and she thinks they look so nice, which fuels the delusion...I'm like, "No, Ma...that's Six Apart, that ain't ME."
I wish I had minored in something computery, too. Le sigh.

I always believe in you, and I hope you get the job.

Of course you can code. If you're motivated, just get a book and study. Sounds over-simplified, but it's not.

Come on coding is dead easy.
But it can get boring after a while. Ask the east italian aka gult next door ;)

You can code if you want to - but I doubt you really want to!
I coded, but as it turns out - NOT what I really wanted to do :)

yes...
You can code if you want to.
You can leave your friends behind.
'Cause your friends don't code and if they don't code, well they're no friends of mine!
(sorry. I had to.)
