Today's SM meetup was SPECTACULAR. One of the best ones I've had the fortune of hosting. So many mutineers, way too many hilarious stories and deeeelicious food. Combine all that with the absolutely flawless weather and it was the sort of Sunday I always wish for...hope yours was as lovely and restorative, too. :)
The entire album from today is here, via this "guest pass" for you luddites who ain't all web 2.o and shit (read: join flickr). I keed, I keed.

The "real" write-up is coming your way tomorrow, er, today. I mean, later today. What THAT means is, it's bedtime for your hostess who's a boastess. :)
glad you had a well deserved good time!!

I wish I could have gone, but I needed the time at home to restore myself. I washed cars, weeded the entire lawn, got my green thumb on, and cultivated a wicked farmer's tan...uhm...burn...farmer's burn.
Sunday morning I actually sat in the entrance of my garage in a lawn chair enjoying the peace and stillness of the early hour. I know I should have gone to church, but I was, in a way.
It made me think of "The Summer Day" by Mary Oliver: http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/133.html
The next meetup, I will make. I promise.
