...which is truly surprising, since I have had little to no exposure to either Malayalam or Tamil music. The end reminds me of one of the most adorable pictures I have ever seen on Fotolog, which was posted by Wincy, when her eldest was about a year old. :)
I heart memorable baby pictures. I don't mind my recent immersion in to fobulousness, either. ;) We'll make an yauthentic Malayalee penne out of me yet!
MMKR is the best Tamil movie ever, with Naayakan coming in at a very close second. I love this song!

Echoing Maitri, this is the FUNNIEST (modern) Tam movie EVER! Instead of identical twins getting separated at birth, you have identical quadruplets separated at birth instead, one of whom ends up as the foster son of a Palakkad Tamilian cook! Outrageous situational comedy results!
I keep hearing "method acting" from the mouths of various actors, but if there ever was perfection in method acting, Kamal Hassan epitomizes that.
Anna, you should watch this movie!

I didn't listen to any Tamil songs before but I heard this song (http://indianoguy.blogspot.com/2007/04/masterpiece.html) and I have been hooked.
Apparently Illaiyaraaja is a mastero (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilaiyaraaja. I will definately recommend a Tamil movie called Kannathil Muthamittal, besides the story line, Having Madhavan (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=r.+madhavan&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi ) in the movie helps too.
