a historic moment for HERstory: FIFTY THOUSAND hits!

nine months ago, i wrote (read: copied and edited) an irrelevant little blog entry, and HERstory was born. 50,000 hits, 92 posts and 489 comments later, blogging has become as important to me as reading. i *never* thought i'd declare such a blasphemous thing...but here i am, giving my ultimate and eternal hobby a run for its paper.

blogging changed my life; it connected me to the most improbable sort of love, via a slacker employee who was busted by his eligible boss...it reunited me with a much-loved cousin in LA after a penis-free mitsubishi cut me off, it introduced me to doting professors whom i can't imagine life without after i quit my soul-suck of a job...and it presented me with the tantalizing possibility of a career that i never thought possible. upon reflection, there are even more people--besides the precious three who are mentioned above--who are new to my life, whom i adore, and it's all b/c of this small space on the interweb. my mind reels. :)

to everyone who clicked and commented, thank you a thousand times. no...*fifty* thousand times. my life is immeasurably better, all b/c of you. *hug* :D
